Christmas Party In The House Tonight.....

Our "Tacky Christmas Party" was filled with fun craftying of
"tacky ornaments" to hang on the family tree.....

and playing the "white elephant" exchange with "tacky white elephant gifts".....

I think Kim had to open the "TACKIEST" white elephant gift....
it was a diaper, the inside was smeared with chocolate frosting (looking like POOP), with
a "milky way" candy bar inside....it was hysterical to watch her open it....and
was the funniest thing ever!
Go Todd and Dana for bringing the grossest, most tacky gift...you win!!

After games, the kids all exchanged their gifts to each other.....I love that they
all still do this....it makes me happy!!
Jack and Dayna got a movie~

Todd and Dana and the boys got a cool race track that they can all
play together (I think it was a hit with everyone...the guys played  with it for a long time)

Erik got "Willow"...a favorite movie of his~

Kim got a sweater~

Mike got a video game~

Cam got a shirt and 2 movies~

and Halle got a Harry Potter shirt and necklace~
Everyone went away having had a wonderful time at our TACKY PARTY! I loved it!!! I love having all our children and grandchildren home....there is nothing better!

Ugly Sweaters ROCK...they also win you some CASH

Our Annual Wilkerson Christmas party was a BLAST!
Dayna and Kim planned a fun "TACKY CHRISTMAS PARTY".
We all wore our "tacky Christmas sweaters". We all got to vote on
who's was the ugliest......
Was it CAMERON's?

Was it MINE?....or ERIK'S?

Was it MIKE'S or KIM'S?

Was it JACK'S or DAYNA'S?

Was it DANA, KENRON, or TODD'S?

Was it KAYSON'S?

Was it HALLE'S?

or was it DERON'S?..........

IT WAS HALLE'S.....she won the "Ugly Sweater Trophy" which will be passed
to the winner each year...and a whopping $20 bucks....

Sometimes it "pays" to wear UGLY CLOTHES!!!

Mischief Makers At Their Best.....

Mr. Darby and Ms. Hazel were so much fun to have around
this Christmas season...even if they got into alot of mischief.....
They crawled in cereal boxes~

Played in the Christmas decorations......

and drank all the orange juice.......

Hazel got kidnapped for a few days and Mr. Darby was heart broken. He cried
as he fished...leaving his snooty tissues all over the counter.

Ms. Hazel was eventually found and ended up in a box of candy......

They fished in the bathtub with alligators and all.....

But eventually they found the true meaning of Christmas as they knelt at the manger
of the baby Jesus......
It was sad to see them go, but we look forward to their return next Thanksgiving
as Santa drops them off. It doesn't matter how old my kids are....
they still love the fun and magic of Christmas....and so do I!!

Five Generations

Thanksgiving with the Wilkerson's brought an opportunity to snap a 5 generation picture. It will mean alot one day for Kenron and Kayson to have this neat picture of their great, great grandparents, great grandma, grandpa and their dad. Its not very often that you get to capture 5 generations...its pretty rare and pretty special.

Scrub A Dub Dub.....Little Boy In The Tub

I couldn't help but take pictures as this little guy played in the "sink".
His smile is infectious and you can't help but be happy when he gives you
"THAT GRIN"

All cleaned up and ready to play.....he's a happy little monster for sure!

Blue Birthday's....

This little guy officially turned ONE back in October. Its crazy how the time just flies, it doesn't seem possible that he can be that old yet. Maybe its because he spent the first 4 months of his little
life in the NICU, so he hasn't even been home for a year yet. He is walking all over the place
and you would never know that he fought for his life...he's happy, healthy and a little guy that
seems to know where he is going in life!

His mom made him a "cookie monster" cake. At first he was very careful at picking
into it, taking little pinches with his fingers....and THEN.......

He decided if it was HIS cake, he would eat it like he OWNED it....he dove right in!

He was so fun to watch as he gobbled it right down, squished it between his little
fingers and dumped it on the floor.....YEP, he OWNED it alright!
After a bath and a bit of cleaning up, he got to open his presents. He loved
being able to tear the paper off and open each of them.
Kenron was happy to watch and was a little concerned when he saw how messy
his little brother got. He was content to just sit by and watch.

He liked to sit on Great Grandma Wilkerson's lap and visit with her.
It was a fun party. These two sweet boys are growing up way too fast....I guess that
happens, but I often wished that life would just slow down a bit.
